We just launched a new product inside Plus.Fan, and it is just the latest reminder for me of why I left Big Corporate. My last brand management role was blue‑sky new products. Every step along the way required alignment from a long list of cross‑functional leaders. The pace was GLACIAL. At Plus.Fan, innovation moves faster. This spring one of our cricket teams in India came to us with a massive challenge. State‑mandated public trials attract thousands of aspiring players, and like most teams, they were managing the entire process manually on spreadsheets. Long lines. Lost data. No workflow. No visibility. Zero chance to scale. We built a dedicated Trials and Registration Module inside Plus.Fan to run everything end to end: registration, payments, scheduling, check‑in, communication, reporting. even roster simulations. This is not vibe coding. It is robust, scalable, and pressure‑tested against the realities of high‑volume participation sport, built to withstand real‑world volume from day one. The Gorakhpur Lions went live last weekend and cleared over 500 paid registrations in the first four days. With two weeks until trials start, several thousand registrations are expected. And two more teams (including a new client not yet public) are signed and preparing to launch. Why this mattersCricket in India is one of the largest participation funnels in global sport. State associations oversee millions of players across youth and senior pathways. Public trials across the 38 states regularly draw between 2 and 5 million players annually. When a process this large is still offline, the opportunity is obvious. Plus.Fan now sits directly in that flow, positioned as the digital infrastructure for a massive, underserved market. This is only one of the many gaps we are seeing in the sports ecosystem from our conversations with teams and executives across the globe. More updates soon as we roll into the biggest summer yet for Plus.Fan. Steve
