I am attending a YC alumni conference today and I had the opportunity to listen to Ram Shriram's advice. He was one of the earliest backers of Google and also a founding board member. It reminded me well that besides technology and capital, the human factor plays a big part in the building of startups. People who choose to believe, help, introduce us to their network, and keep showing up before the outcome is obvious are really the ones that make a difference. At the same event, I also got to spend time with Nick Tommarello, Wefunder’s Founder & CEO.Nick and the Wefunder team have been helping Airthium since our first community fundraise in 2021. So it felt like the right moment to say thank you for his efforts and the unique platform he built to democratize access to startup investing.
