Yesterday was the last day of Digestive Disease Week (DDW) in Chicago — and it did not disappoint. DDW is one of the largest academic conferences and tradeshows in our field. It's busy under normal circumstances, but we launched the EVS Gen 2 there, so these were anything but normal circumstances. We had a great show and tremendous interest from GIs across the US and around the globe.One of the highlights of the meeting was a Sunday morning session where leaders in the field gathered to discuss alternatives to traditional EUS devices and what those options mean for settings like the ASC and the hospital. It was a lively, honest debate exactly the kind of conversation that moves the field forward.Another highlight: a poster co-authored by our co-founder Stephen Steinberg, MD received a distinction award.Now our focus turns to the field. We're focused on getting Gen 2 into the hands of our customers and supporting them as they explore what's possible.More to come.
