First off, thank you.Whether we met years ago, you saw us in the news, or you just joined our list, I’m glad you’re following along.I started bluShift because I wanted to prove that aerospace doesn't have to be a choice between high-performance and high-toxicity. For too long, the industry has relied on propellants that are explosive, cancerous, and a nightmare for the environment. We’re doing it differently. We’re building rockets powered by bio-derived fuel. It’s non-toxic, carbon-neutral, and safe enough that if a rocket tipped over into the ocean, it wouldn't harm the water. What we’re actually doing right now We’re in our hangar in Brunswick, Maine, right now working on the upcoming MAREVL engine test and FAA licensing.(Heads up - I'll have an exciting update in a day or two, so keep your eyes open this weekend)Our focus has shifted toward solving a massive problem in the Defense and Hypersonic space. Because our motors cost about 25% of what a traditional solid rocket motor costs and because we don’t face the same supply chain bottlenecks, we’re in a position to move much faster than the "old guard."In the coming weeks, I’ll be sharing: The Hangar Floor: Photos and clips of the MAREVL engine as we prep for testing. The Throttle Up Podcast: We’re launching a series next week where I’ll talk openly about the tech, the mistakes we’ve made, and where we’re headed next. The Grit: The honest updates on what it takes to build a rocket company. I’m glad to have you with us for this next chapter. Stay tuned, there’s a lot coming.Onward and Upward,Sascha Deri Founder & CEO, bluShift Aerospace
