Our first day of production for RECKLESS SPIRITS ran extremely smoothly, taking place at one location, which was at the home of one of our main characters, Yvette.We changed lighting and "blocking" (where actors are positioned within a scene) throughout the day to help show the passage of time even though they were in the same space mostly the entire time.The idea was that the two main best friends, Syd and Yvette, have been experiencing a series of inexplicable events, and therefore, Yvette has stayed up all night researching what shared dreams and ancestor visits might mean. Meanwhile, Syd is often just sleeping, not all that concerned with anything.Tomorrow we finish up the scenes in Yvette's kitchen and bedroom! More to come!
