In our presentation we simply asked why keep doing what hasn't worked for decades? They keep building Water Treatment Facilities that either don't work more than half the time or get easily overwhelmed allowing millions of gallons of untreated sewage to flow directly into our Oceans and Beaches here in San Diego. Here is our direct, straightforward solution that would solve the problem and be much more cost effective! We never addressed the Tijuana River Crisis because even though we knew our technology could remove the fecal matter and bacteria, as well as trash, biomass, hydrocarbons and the great majority of the heavy metals, we didn't know how to handle the accumulated waste of 3 million people a day. The task would take 30,000 trucks or over 1,000 high temp Incinerators. The solution? Pumping the waste using 8" HDPE piping directly to an Oil Tanker. A large oil tanker will hold 84 Million Gallons, more than 3 months worth of waste!
