Hi everyone,I would like to share a brief update after reviewing two recent industry articles on the current state of wound care: "Medicare’s 10 billion dollar wake-up call: Wound care is more than numbers," published by Medical Economics, and "The overall wound care market," published by Hospital News. Both articles reinforce a reality I see daily in clinical and scientific practice. Despite growing investment and rapid market expansion, there is still no clear and reliable pathway for treating complex wounds, particularly chronic and diabetic wounds. The field remains fragmented, and much of today’s innovation focuses on incremental products rather than improving the biological processes that drive healing. At the same time, the core foundations of wound care remain unchanged: - Proper debridement - Moisture control - Pressure offloading - Infection managementMany modern solutions still do not meaningfully support the biology of tissue repair. This gap between market growth and real healing outcomes is exactly why Heal Rapidly exists. Our work is centered on supporting the skin’s own biological response to injury to enable faster and more effective recovery. Finally, I would like to acknowledge the scientists leading this work with us: Dr. Arup Indra Dr. Gitali IndraWarm regards,The Heal Rapidly team
