Happy 2026 Everyone,As a new year begins, I want to take a moment to reflect on what we've built together in 2025 and to thank you for being part of it.Last year, we raised $2.84M in our seed round, including $1.1M from 545 investors in the Wefunder community. That momentum helped us accelerate critical milestones across every part of the business. Safar Partners immediately followed on with a further $1M on less dilutive terms as well, bringing our total equity raised to $3.84M, the most we've ever raised in such a short period. That alone is a big accomplishment, but we have a lot more to celebrate. Here are a few highlights:🦾Acquired Imago Rehab, a trailblazer in AI-driven stroke rehabilitation and wearable robotics. This strategic acquisition opened up an entirely new market for HCO, the $210B rehab industry, with a fast-track to a commercialization for Imago’s hardware.🫁Launched a partnership with the Asthma & Allergy Foundation of America (AAFA), expanding our access to underserved populations and asthma hotspots like Dallas, as well as awareness from important alliances.🤝Selected as the Exclusive Virtual Respiratory Care Provider the Lehigh Valley Coalition of Health, a major regional payer group that gives us access to 275+ employers and over 400,000 lives. This multi-million dollar contract is the type of engagement that led to the success of similar companies like Hinge Health who IPO’d last year at a $2B+ valuation.🤖Advanced our AI strategy We filed our first official AI patent, bringing our total patent count to 25! This new patent solidifies our competitive moat in building the world’s first agentic, multimodal AI trained on real-time deep organ sounds and behavioral feedback. 👋Welcomed four new team members, including two just this month. Yana Lender (Customer Success Manager) and Brytne Latona (Clinical Admin Coordinator) recently joined our team in Rochester. Earlier this year, Doug Roy joined us as our new SVP of Sales and Manasvi Patwa joined as our new Senior AI Engineer/Data Scientist.📣Featured in multiple outlets including Forbes, Master of Scale, Behind the Markets, Kingscrowd, SuperPowers for Good, Koala Gains, and more. We were also invited to speak about asthma solutions and digital health innovation at countless industry events which led to strategic exposure for HCO including the Medicaid Leadership Conference, America's Health Insurance Plans (AHIP) Annual Conference, the Health Action Council Annual Conference, and many more. 🏆Won big at the SuperCrowd LA event, HCO took home both the Judges Award and the Audience Choice prize at this in-person and live-streamed event that featured thoughtleaders in regulation crowdfunding, as well as other innovative startups.🙂Our investors sponsored 80 children in underserved communities! We finalized numbers from the Wefunder raise in December and determined that $800K of the $1.1M came from investors contributing $5K or more — unlocking our investor perk to help children in underserved communities. We’re deeply grateful for your support, and excited to put those funds to meaningful use.If you know of organizations in your area that fund health initiatives for underserved populations, please introduce us. These programs don’t generate revenue, but they do what matters most: serve those who need it, prove our technology works, and raise awareness.📈Closed the year with strong commercial signals: In HCO, our CAC, (Customer Acquisition Cost) for the AAFA program is 50% lower than expected. We're delivering market-leading efficiency with the same lifetime value, proof that our offering is resonating and that we can both meet and drive demand.In Imago, our CAC is 40% lower than the target we set, and 10X lower than pre-acquisition costs.2025 has been a big year. I lost 2 members of my immediate family, was hospitalized once (of course not for asthma!) and had one surgery. I had a lot of time to think about cherishing family and how blessed I am to be able to do meaningful work that I enjoy. My wishes for all of you: that you’ll be fully present when you’re with family, and the closeness we feel during the holiday season pervades every day of the year to come. that you each have an opportunity to find and enjoy meaningful work that makes a big difference, just like we do at HCO because of your investment.
