Since the V2 launch on November 3rd we’ve been in nonstop build mode — tightening things up, fixing the stuff that wasn’t quite right, and rolling out the features you’ve been asking for.We just pushed a fresh release across Web, Android, and iOS, and I want to quickly walk you through what changed, why it matters, and what’s coming next.WHAT JUST WENT LIVE THIS WEEK (WEB, ANDROID & iOS)No auto-refresh when returning to list from detail views — When you back out of a job, estimate, client, or task, the app no longer jumps back to the top or reloads the list. You land exactly where you left off, which means less scrolling, fewer extra taps, and a smoother day-to-day workflow.Calendar now shows Jobs, Phases and Tasks with enhanced filters — Your calendar now gives you a full picture of your workload: jobs, phases, visits and tasks all on the same screen, with better filters. This makes it easier to see what’s due, who’s doing what, and where potential bottlenecks are—without jumping between modules. You can also choose what you want to sync (the jobs themselves, individual phases or tasks, individual visits from recurring jobs, etc). This means you no longer have to create a task under the job for the job to show up on the calendar or sync to your device calendar. Sorry for the oversight on this one, we got it fixed!Enable or disable financing option per client — You can now turn financing on or off on a per-client basis instead of all-or-nothing. This lets you offer financing to clients where it helps you close more deals, while keeping it hidden for situations or customers where it doesn’t make sense.Generate invoice from a job without selecting timesheets or tasks — For flat-rate work or simple jobs, you can now spin up an invoice directly from the job without having to select specific timesheets or tasks. This cuts several steps out of the process and makes it much faster to get paid on straightforward jobs.Menards supplies integration added — You now have Menards available as a supplies source, so you can pull items and build material lists with more accurate pricing and less manual entry. This helps keep your estimates tight and your margins protected. We don't have their full catalog, but most hardware items are available now and we're working on getting the rest.Schedule tab in Client and Service Address detail page — Each client and each service address now has its own “Schedule” tab showing all past and upcoming work tied to that customer or location. That means you can quickly answer “When were we last there?” and “What’s scheduled next?” without digging through jobs.Other minor requests & changes rolled out on-demand — We’ve been quietly shipping a bunch of smaller user-requested improvements alongside normal support fixes. Many of the “little annoyances” you’ve reported have already been cleaned up, which should make the whole experience feel smoother even if you can’t name every single change.Minor enhancements, bug fixes & crash reports — We also knocked out more stability issues and crash reports behind the scenes. The goal: fewer surprises, fewer app restarts, and a more reliable experience no matter how heavy your usage is.FIXES & IMPROVEMENTS ALREADY LIVE SINCE THE V2 LAUNCHClient Pages logo alignment fixed — Your logos now line up correctly on client-facing pages, so your brand looks clean and professional when clients open your estimates, invoices, and portals.Gmail / SMTP / Outlook PDF email issue resolved — PDF attachments now send reliably across all major email providers. No more resending, weird workarounds, or wondering whether your client actually received the PDF.PDF size optimized to avoid 25MB provider limits — We’ve optimized PDF generation so large estimates and invoices stay within typical email size limits. This means fewer bounced emails and less time compressing files manually.Thumbtack webhook “duplicate leads” issue fixed — Leads coming in from Thumbtack no longer duplicate in your pipeline. This keeps your lead list clean, avoids confusion, and prevents your team from accidentally double-working the same lead.Calendar glitches fixed (week view spinning, backward scroll, etc.) — The calendar now scrolls and behaves the way you expect. No more spinning issues or odd backward scroll behavior, so you can rely on it to plan your day and week.Edit Time now allows direct value input — When editing time entries, you can type in the exact value instead of only incrementing with buttons. That makes fixing mistakes and tightening up time logs much faster and more precise.Material Search optimized and performance bottlenecks removed — Material search is much faster, especially if you have a big catalog. You spend less time waiting and more time building accurate estimates.Incorrect person names on reviews/activity logs fixed — Activity logs and reviews now show the correct team member names. This keeps accountability clear and your internal audit trail accurate.Time Clock & Mileage Reports now include graphs — We’ve added visual graphs to Time Clock and Mileage reports, making it easier to spot trends in labor and travel at a glance without exporting to spreadsheets.Subscription-related issues cleaned up — Subscription and billing-related oddities have been ironed out, so plan changes, renewals, and upgrades are more predictable and less likely to require a support ticket.Time Clock glitches patched — Time tracking is more reliable overall, which reduces missed punches, strange timestamps, and the cleanup work that comes with them.Materials now display properly in detail view & client-facing pages — Materials show up correctly both for your internal detail views and on client pages. Your clients see exactly what they’re paying for, and your team sees clear breakdowns.Social media links and logos now show in outgoing emails — Your social profiles and branding now appear properly in outgoing emails. This helps build trust and makes it easier for clients to connect with you beyond the job.Description cut-off issue in client pages resolved — Long descriptions no longer get cut off in client views. Clients can see full scope details, which reduces back-and-forth and “What about this item?” questions.Line Item Template search optimized — Searching Line Item Templates is now faster and more accurate. This helps you find the right template quickly, especially if you’ve got a big library built out.20+ crash reports resolved — We’ve dug through and fixed more than twenty distinct crash scenarios. The result is a more stable mobile app, especially in edge cases that previously caused random failures.Invoice payment due / schedule / summary accuracy fixed — Invoices now always show the correct due dates, payment schedules, and summary information. This reduces confusion, billing disputes, and time spent double-checking totals.W9 Form 2025 updated — You can grab the latest W9 directly from Contractor+ without hunting around for updated forms. That makes onboarding vendors and handling tax-related requests smoother.DC & Washington address bug fixed — Addresses in Washington DC and Washington State now validate and display correctly. This keeps routing, directions, and job records accurate in those regions.Line item duplication fixed — Line items no longer accidentally duplicate themselves. That means fewer mistakes in estimates/invoices and less risk of overbilling or messy cleanup.Custom offline payment methods now visible to clients — When you set up custom offline payment methods (cash, check, Zelle, etc.), your clients now clearly see those options. That makes it easier for them to pay you the way you prefer.Dozens of small performance and stability improvements behind the scenes — We’ve made a ton of micro-optimizations to speed up screen loads, syncs, and background processes. The app should simply feel faster and more solid overall.WHAT WE’RE FINISHING RIGHT NOW (CURRENT SPRINT)These are in active development right now and coming up next:Estimatic AI in Mobile Apps — You’ll be able to build full AI-assisted estimates right from the field on your phone or tablet. That means less late-night estimate work and more jobs closed on-site.Major accuracy upgrades to the multi-agent Estimatic workflow — We’re upgrading the brains behind Estimatic so it gets even closer to the estimate you’d build yourself: better quantities, more relevant line items, and less editing. We're re-training from recent feedback and half a million estimates to get it dialed in further, also using Langgraph to improve quality via context awareness and improving speed & overall performance.Instant Payouts — For qualifying merchants, you’ll be able to get your money the same day your client pays instead of waiting standard settlement times. Better cash flow, fewer bottlenecks.EagleView integration — You’ll be able to pull roof and exterior measurements straight into Contractor+ from EagleView, which cuts out manual measuring and data entry and improves accuracy.SEO-friendly city & service pages for Pro Websites — Pro Websites will be able to generate SEO-optimized location and service pages automatically. This helps you rank better on Google in the exact cities and services you care about, and bring in more inbound leads.Vendor Profiles + Purchase Ordering for ABC Supply — You’ll be able to manage vendor profiles and send purchase orders directly to ABC Supply from inside Contractor+. Less time on the phone or re-typing POs and more time in the field. (Additional vendors are lined up after that.)Full two-way communication system (numbers, IVR, routing, reporting) — We’ve built a full communication layer into Contractor+ so you can get dedicated numbers, call routing, IVR, text messaging, and call reporting all in one place. The goal is to let you replace tools like CallRail and keep all client communication tied to jobs automatically. This is done and in final QA, will be shipping very soon. We intended on getting this out in late November but we were caught up fixing issues after the v2 update.Card readers will start shipping in January for qualifying merchants — You’ll be able to accept in-person card payments on-site with dedicated readers that tie into Contractor+ Payments. That means you can finish the job and get paid right there, no follow-up invoice needed.Automated job actuals & profitability reporting— We’re wiring together your estimates, time, materials, and payments so you can see true job margins automatically. No more manual spreadsheets to figure out what you actually made on a job.Lifetime Deal — We're working on a limited time Lifetime Deal for existing and new users. We'll be sending out separate emails when this becomes available.A lot of this is landing before Christmas, and we’re going to keep this pace up into the new year. Thanks for building with us, giving us honest feedback, and pushing us to keep leveling this platform up.— Justin & The Contractor+ Team
