Exciting progress is happening at the Welcome Home Village in San Luis Obispo, a first-of-its-kind homeless housing project now taking shape using Azure’s 3D-printed modular homes.Last week, the first units were delivered to the site, marking a huge milestone toward providing sustainable, dignified housing for those in need. We sat down with KSBY News to explain Azure’s process. Each home is made from durable, recycled plastic materials, helping to keep millions of water bottles out of landfills while creating long-lasting, livable spaces. The project, funded by a California grant, will feature 40 full-size and 14 smaller 3D-printed units, all designed and printed at Azure’s factory in Gardena, CA.We’re honored to see our technology helping cities like San Luis Obispo address homelessness through innovation, sustainability and compassion.Watch the full story from KSBY News.
