It is with heavy heart that I post this update. Aristotle Spirits is no more. We were unable to overcome consumer habit changes and market forces and ultimately had to close our doors in less than ideal circumstances. The bank claimed all assets and has liquidated them to cover in part the SBA loan. Under advice from our attorney we have dissolved the business as we had no other assets. I am forever grateful for the investors as they helped us keep the business going for another 2 years, it just wasn’t ultimately enough to overcome a reduction in revenue and slow wholesale growth in the long run. We had hoped to have another investor come and save the business but the one we identified fell through in the last minute, leaving us with no avenue to go forward. we are proud of what we were able to accomplish over the time we were in operation, with multiple awards and years of operation. It’s so sad to see it all gone, we felt so close to turning a corner, it just ultimately wasn’t meant to be. thank you again for the help you gave us! I won’t ever forget it.
