20 days ago, we completed a four month crowd-equity endeavor right here — and finished it strong.Giant thanks to you legends who swooped in in those last few days: Kyle, Julie, Christopher, Gary, David, John, Mark, Jeremy, Douglas, Richard, Catrina, Shane, Arnab, James, Jacob, Geoffrey, Tommy, Anthony, Phoebe, Dani, and Amy!And of course to our early and mid-stage investors who built the foundation.About that remaining gap we had to bridge in our budget? We have very good news. I'll confirm in the next update.Most I can say right now is this: THE ABSENCE OF VIOLET will be shooting this fall in Port Townsend, WA.We are currently slated to shoot 10/27 - 11/21.What we're up to now: building up our crew, storyboarding/shotlisting like crazy, in-depth scouting, sending offers to actors, and more.Thanks to you, we're making a great movie.
