We’re excited to share that almost $550,000 has been reserved in under two weeks for our upcoming crowdfunding campaign on StartEngine. Momentum is building quickly, and we’re on track to file our final documents with the SEC and launch the offering shortly. If the majority of early commitments come through in the first week, we’ll be in position by September to order the remaining components for our two Wind Harvester 4.0 turbines in Texas. That keeps us on schedule to begin third-party certification early next year—a major milestone for commercialization.A quick reminder: If you want to receive an additional 10% in bonus shares, now is the time to act. This reservation bonus may end as soon as next week. And if you want to participate in a new Q&A with me at 2pm PT on Thursday July 31, please sign up here for the link. Bird Observation Update from St. CroixWe’ve also started posting updates from our ongoing bird monitoring efforts near the St. Croix refinery site. Check out the first two videos of Laughing Gulls and Brown Pelicans on Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn. Follow our accounts to keep up with these ongoing observations. As you’ll see, the winds can be quite strong—so strong that even the birds struggle to fly upwind! It’s also clear that seabirds like the Least Tern, Brown Pelican, and Laughing Gull prefer flying over the ocean while foraging, rather than over the man-made peninsula where our turbines will be installed. This is good news: If confirmed by the full set of observations, it means we can build the project as densely as possible without triggering environmental concerns. If any sensitive species are detected flying through the area, they will activate our motion-detection camera system, which uses sound deterrents—or, if needed, will slow or stop turbines—to ensure wildlife safety.A Strong Path ForwardOur St. Croix project is on track to qualify for the 50% U.S. Investment Tax Credit and 100% bonus depreciation, which would significantly boost project economics. If/when this project is a sure thing, it should increase Wind Harvest’s valuation heading into our Series B round. We hope you’ll take advantage of the reservation bonus and help make our StartEngine offering a success.
