Second award from National Science Foundation SenoGuard has officially commenced its NSF-funded research into an alternate to radiation therapy following breast-conserving surgery. To drive this critical work forward, we have partnered with CPSI Biotech, a leader in cryoablation research and technology development, to conduct further studies into the effectiveness of our novel cryoprobe system.Post-lumpectomy radiation has long been the standard of care to reduce the risk of cancer recurrence, but it comes with significant drawbacks, including side effects, limited accessibility, and high costs.
