We wanted to give you the lowdown on where Dust is at and our plans for the near future, including this raise and our upcoming Seed round next year.When we set our goals on WeFunder, we mainly wanted to provide an opportunity to our early supporters from the Founder 50 and First 100, so they could get in on the ground floor. WeFunder has also helped expand our network of early supporters, and the process of starting looking for investors has opened the door with some funds. We’re pleased to say we’ve already hit our main targets, so we’ll be wrapping up this campaign in just a few weeks.Now, here’s the exciting part—we’re gearing up to announce our first open pre-sale campaign before the year’s end. This will secure production for 2025 and lock in some solid revenue before we hit an institutional investor-led Seed round by mid-next year. Here’s what we aim to achieve to lock in a higher valuation for that Seed:Strong momentum from the pre-order campaignDealer and sales network in placeFinalized manufacturing-ready design, tweaked for increased lightness and performanceManufacturing lined up and ready to goBooked revenue at 95%+ certainty for delivery, backing a strong valuationWith all of this in place, we’ll be ready to raise our Seed round to cover production of pre-orders and some extra stock.
