Wow, what a strange few weeks it's been. Our last post following Hurricane Helene barely hit your inbox before Milton came to visit. For those of you in the area there's no need to explain. For those who aren't - well, things have been catawampus to say the very least. We hope those of you who are local have weathered the storms and are safe and dry.Some good news to report - there was no damage to the Mothership. We lost power but it has been restored. The boil water notice has been lifted so we are back to brewing today. Luckily we've kept a higher than normal inventory for the last few months for this exact situation so we don't anticipate any shortages. The not so good news being that the additional damage from Milton has slowed recovery and put a strain on our city's infrastructure. Many are still without power (including several on our team) and our community is reeling. Many of our local accounts are still closed, some might not open again. But we’ve weathered many storms, a pandemic and many other events beyond our control and we will power through.To brighten things a bit our local sales manager Ty and our packaging staff went out yesterday and again today to give out kombucha in the community. It's not much given the level of loss but people have been so excited to see them roll up in our old market van, Ophelia. From linemen and yard volunteers to people at the beaches cleaning up debris, they are making the rounds and sharing a little love. Here’s to brighter days, cooler weather and rebuilding with the one thing the storm didn’t weaken, the resolve and strength of our incredible community.Be well and take care,Tonya and Team Mother Lineman - our heroes!Team MK (Ty, PJ, Evan, Cat) headed out to spread some liquid sunshine
