Another Patent, Summer Seminar Videos, and Company ProgressJuly certainly turned out to be an eventful month around the world. Here are some updates on what has been happening here at Wind Harvest:Another Patent GrantedWe heard from the US Patent and Trademark Office that they will be granting another of our nine patents soon. This innovation covers the hinged connection between the central mast of the turbine and the arms that support the blades. We expect it to be fully granted in about a month. This innovation, in combination with the recently patented arm-blade hinge, helps allow the Wind Harvester® to withstand the forces that come with 15M revolutions per year in turbulent wind. It may be impossible for future competitors to make durable and efficient VAWTs without licensing our technology. Summer Seminar Series: Videos Available OnlineIn June and July, we hosted a series of webinars. We’re planning one more, focused on opportunities in Barbados, and are coordinating with Dr. Ariana Marshall who has worked with Wind Harvest there for over seven years. Stay tuned for details. All these videos describe why our technology and company will create a much needed growth wave for the wind industry.Raising Capital for TRL 8 - Third-Party CertificationOur outreach efforts, especially via LinkedIn, have resulted in six different groups interested in $1M+ investments, so we could see the current funding challenge overcome in the next month. In the meantime, we are mainly financing operations with loans made by existing investors. Anyone can lend us money. Notes receive 10% interest and warrants for common shares. They have a maturity date of the end of the year or one year from now at the lenders’ choice. You are welcome and invited to lend to Wind Harvest. Just let me know.
