Happy Monday!We are now just three weeks away from filming and have many updates to share with you!We’ve reached our goal of $100,000 thanks to all of your support, allowing us to officially move forward with production! We are still working toward raising $20,000 more in order to feel comfortable in our budget and allow us to start the editing process as soon as possible when filming is complete. I truly can not express how overjoyed I am to be making this film!Now...on to the updates!ActorsWe had a slight change in our cast, and the role of Kevin will now be played by the incredible Reed Diamond.Reed was born and raised in New York City. He studied acting at the Juilliard School and made his professional debut co-starring in the movie Memphis Belle (1990). He has performed on Broadway, in numerous films, and in hundreds of episodes of television. Reed's big-screen appearances include Joss Whedon's Much Ado About Nothing (2012) and the Oscar-nominated films Good Night, and Good Luck (2005) and Moneyball (2011). His notable performances on television include the critically acclaimed Homicide: Life on the Street, as well as Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Dollhouse, 24, Franklin & Bash, Journeyman, The Shield, Wayward Pines, The West Wing, Bones, The Mentalist, Underground, The Purge, and Designated Survivor.We will also be joined by New Hampshire local Gordon Clapp, who will be playing the role of Jacob’s father, Gary.Gordon Clapp grew up in the ski resort town of North Conway in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. He is known for portraying Detective Greg Medavoy on NYPD Blue, for which he won the 1998 Emmy Award for Supporting Actor in a Drama Series and a SAG Award for Ensemble in a Drama Series. Since then, he has had numerous film and television roles, including recurring roles on Damages and Chicago Fire. In 2005, he received a Theatre World Award, a Drama Desk Ensemble Award, and a Tony nomination for his portrayal of Dave Moss in the all-star Broadway revival of Glengarry Glen Ross.We are so excited to have these two joining our incredible cast!
