07/23/2024Dear friends and investors,Good morning / good afternoon from the Farnborough International Airshow!We've made a bunch of news today—and a complete rundown of today's announcements can be found on social:From me: X From Boom: X, LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube.  Chief Concorde Pilot Flies Overture (1:57)Once again, we took the opportunity today to share major announcements across XB-1, Overture, and Symphony:As we write, XB-1 is currently fueled and about to take the runway in Mojave for its final taxi test before Flight Two. XB-1 has been upgraded with a roll stability augmentation system—and if all goes well with today's tests we'll be back in the air as soon as weather permits—likely within a week.We unveiled Overture’s state-of-the-art flight deck. Not only did former Chief Concorde Pilot Mike Bannister kick off the press conference, but he’s now the first pilot to fly both the Concorde and Overture. Check out the video below.We shared significant progress on the Symphony engine program–including advancing into hardware testing and developing the first full-scale engine core to be operational in just 18 months.We also announced the expansion of our partnership with StandardAero for Symphony assembly and testing in San Antonio, Texas—where we will be building up to 330 Symphony engines per year in a 100,000+ sqft manufacturing and test space.We introduced two new suppliers, Universal Avionics for Overture’s external vision system, including a head-worn device, and ATI for advanced high-temperature materials and components for Symphony’s high-pressure compressor integrated blade and disk stages, and turbine disk.  Below, is a recording of today's press conference.Cheers,Blake
