Dear investors, friends and supporters of AnyFans Inc. It's been a very long year since you last heard from us but we felt we needed to get you an update. We are grateful for your support when we were riding high and hope that you will read this entire message to absorb the upside along with the downside of our experience. To start with, the AF Social App by AnyFans as we know it no longer exists. All invested funds in Wefunder and more than $600,000 invested by the founder were used as operating capital to grow the app in 2022 and early 2023 and the company (and your investment) has no value at this time. No one is more disappointed or humbled by these facts than I am as the founder. It took months to come to terms with how fast things went from "good" to "gone." There is a bright spot however. If there is any hope of returning value to investors it will not require any of your money, but simply your support. Read on... The short version...AnyFans Inc (AFI) is now doing business as Your App Right Now, a platform where anyone can create their own app and have it live within days. Ever heard of Wix.com, used to create personal or business websites? YARN is the same concept as Wix but for apps instead of websites. It's turnkey! We even create your logo for you. YARN allows you to start your own social media-style app with groups and features within a few days. All the buyer needs to do is provide a few inputs of information. To learn more you can visit www.JoinYarn.com. The JoinYarn.com site is now live, with two apps already created, and another coming within weeks. Anyone can start their own social media-style app for a business, club, school, team, city or event! If lots of people do, and we start generating revenue, we will then seek an investor to buy-out existing investors (you!) which was the plan all along. How can you help? Spread the word to everyone you know who may have an interest in creating an app. See one of our early customer apps by typing MMADebate.app in your browser - it just launched and will go to market in June. So what happened? The mission of AnyFans Inc (AFI) was always to support young adult mental health through providing a platform to connect with others with similar interests. When our state-of-the-art app launched and started growing in Spring 2022, we launched a friends and family fundraising round on WeFunder and within days, with very little outreach other than social media promotion, we had raised more than $100,000 - it seems that everyone wanted in. Just a few months later we were named the third fastest growing tech company of 2022 and we received a commitment to invest $6 million ($3 million by December 2022 and another $3 million to follow). As a result, we increased our marketing budget to keep growing the app through the end of 2022 and into early 2023. We not only utilized all the funds from Wefunder for operations, but we even tossed in more personal funds in early 2023 with the understanding that the initial $3 million investment was coming. As founder, I personally never made a penny from AnyFans, it was my passion project and dream to grow it. All funds were utilized to create and develop the app, and for marketing. In late December 2022, our investor advised that there was a delay in securing the funds for our investment but the funds would likely be accessible by March 2023. Well, in March 2023 Silicon Valley Bank collapsed and shortly thereafter we were advised that our anticipated investment was now unlikely for a multitude of reasons unrelated to AFI or our performance. By April 2023 we had released all developers and our funds were depleted, and as a result user growth on AF Social began to decline. At the same time this turn of events was happening, 2023 saw a huge trending downward with popular social media apps as a counter to the growth of the creator economy. Research shows that young adults were using TikTok and Instagram less, and turning more to apps like Snap that did not force them to see as many creators but allowed them to keep their circle small. This trend is exactly what we had been building toward with our app before usership of the AF Social app by AnyFans Inc essentially trickled to a handful of users by the beginning of Summer of 2023. Our dream was over and we were not sure where to turn. By the summer of 2023 there were no funds, no employees and almost no users of the app. We spent a few months seeking a new investor but the investment world had come to a standstill after the collapse of SVB, especially for tech and social media. Personally, in the summer of 2023 I ended up having to sell my family home of 18 years and started looking for a job to attempt to recover some of the debt I incurred launching the start-up, and to support my family. I now am running a healthcare district three hours from home and driving back home to our family rental on weekends. All the while, my co-founder and I felt a desire to try to return value to our investors who believed in our vision. We decided that we could still be true to our mission by helping young adults create their own app that would support our mission of improving mental health through providing a platform to connect with others with similar interests. With massive advances in technology over the past few years, we agreed to give our mission one more shot on a shoestring budget, basically, no budget, to just create the platform as a side hustle while we both took on full time jobs. While we may have hit rock bottom and were ready to throw in the towel, we felt a debt of gratitude to our investors and wanted to give this one more shot to try and get a return on YOUR investment. With no remaining users on the AF social app, we sold the AnyFans.com url and used those funds as operating capital to create YARN. Your App Right Now was born. So that's the update. Anyone is now able to enter a credit card at JoinYarn.com and have their own app within a few days for as little as $5,000. And THEY own the app, not us – it’s a franchise model if you will. This is the new vision of AFI, formerly AnyFans Inc. So the best way to get a return on your investment at this point is to help us spread the word. Want an app for yourself, your business, your school, your community, your alumni or city? Tell friends to visit www.JoinYarn.com to create Your App Right Now and start generating revenue today! Bottom LineIf we can grow this entity and get an investor, you could get your investment back plus the anticipated return that was once the goal. Thank you again for your understanding, support and patience. Josh LukeFounderYour App Right Now (formerly AFI)YARN logo
