Happy Holidays! We are excited to share some new developments about HeartFoods.Food is Medicine.  HeartFoods opens the door for every community to own their own HeartFoods farm to grow organic, nutritious food, year around. There are options for restoring soils for regenerative agriculture applications as well as Controlled Environment Agricultural (CEA) applications using vertical and greenhouse hydroponic and/or soil-based food production. The newest development is the “Mini” HeartFoods Container Farm. It includes all of the “Core” technologies of our BioLoop (food waste to food production) System. The farm will be five 20’ modular shipping containers. The first farm is proposed for location on the Bellingham waterfront as part of a container village set up on the old Georgia Pacific site.  Here is an architectural rendering of the modular “Mini” HeartFoods Farm built with five 20’ shipping containers with all “core” parts including anaerobic digestor, fuel cell (green power from the biogas) and our IP food waste to “live culture” organic fertilizer system, along with two shipping container vertical grow rooms, one for greens and veggies, and the other for growing strawberries.Example modular grow room/vertical farm container:Let's Grow!
