Happy New Year!!We finished our last network pitches for the Next DaVinci in December 2023 – right before the SAG-AFTRA strikes ended. Unfortunately, we did not receive an offer from a network, and we believe that timing was off due to the strike and a myriad of staff changes.Currently, our team at BET studios and Gabrielle Union’s I’ll Have Another productions are looking at another round of pitches to networks in Europe including BBC and ITV as well as Australian TV.We also plan on re-pitching a new version of the show to Disney under the Imagineer brand. The team is currently working on a variation of the show and as soon as we have a pitch deck, I will share it.I am also planning a Q&A session with our Lead from BET Studios – that I hope will be interesting for our WeFunder investors.SmartGurlz's second media project Girls Meet Mars - an animated series will be pitched to Gabrielle Union's team as well this month. (She would be perfect to Voice Over that series.)
