We are excited to share updates about our ongoing journey towards safer schools.First and foremost, please be aware that on Tuesday, October 31, we will be closing our public regulated crowdfunding campaign for investors through Wefunder. We express our sincerest gratitude to those who have invested in Active Defender and making schools across the country safer for students and staff. If you know someone who may be considering joining us on this incredible mission, please let them know that time is running out to become a part of the Active Defender family.Invest before October 31st, not only for the great potential financial opportunity, but to make a lasting impact on the safety of educational institutions!So far, we’ve seen tremendous support as we’ve raised approximately $550,000 to this point in the campaign. These funds are not sitting idle; they are hard at work fueling the growth and evolution of Active Defender.Here’s a glimpse of what we’ve been up to:Company Expansion: We’re spreading our wings! With your backing, we’re expanding our reach and making sure that Active Defender’s innovative safety solutions touch every corner of the educational landscape, including not just K-12 schools but also college campuses.  Marketing and Sales Acceleration: Thanks to your contributions, our marketing and sales efforts are reaching new heights. We want to shout our message from the rooftops and ensure that every school knows about the safety net we’re weaving. Active Defender continues to grow and is now protecting 156 school systems across 22 states.Key Executive Team Members: Building a strong leadership team is crucial. We’re thrilled to announce the addition of some stellar talent to our Active Defender team:·      Leigh Churchborne – National Sales Manager: Because every great solution needs an even greater advocate. Leigh holds a B.S. in Business Administration and Masters in Elementary Education, but more importantly, has 20+ years of success in sales and sales and management.·      Jerry Aponte – Chief Training Officer: Knowledge is power, and we’re empowering our team and users. Jerry spent 17+ years in law enforcement, the last 12 of which were as a School Resource Officer. He has a deep understanding of school, security, and the needs of school staff.·      Dr. Seth Powers – Chief Operations Officer: Keeping the cogs turning smoothly so we can focus on what matters most – safety. Seth spent 30 years in K-12 public education as a teacher, principal, and assistant superintendent where one of his primary responsibilities was the overall safety of district schools.Your belief in Active Defender is making a tangible difference, and we can’t wait to show you what the future holds.
