We’ve been hard at work shaping metal into what will be our next prototype. We’re making the most of our internal fabrication workspace to build up the frame of our high temperature demo machine. We took delivery of steel tubes, which we cut and welded. The step shown here is the grinding of the welds.Here is the result, before painting :At the same time, more parts are being manufactured by our suppliers and should arrive in the coming weeks which will kickstart the assembly of our next prototype.We have already had a steady stream of deliveries, from machined parts to fluid system components and motors. We are currently assembling some sub-systems which will be integrated in our prototype.In the near future we will have a major upgrade of our in-house capabilities, with the delivery of a milling machine : a Huron MU 55. This sturdy workhorse will enable us to make or modify more parts in-house and accelerate our development cycle.We have the opportunity to make it all happen thanks to you.
