Hello Investors!We wanted to take a moment and update you on our progress last quarter.&nbsp;&nbsp;Here are a few highlights:1.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;We completed the upgrade of our commercial kitchen and are conducting recipe trials designed to increase the amount of upcycled ingredients.2.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Our cups were featured at some high-profile events including Live Nation’s VIP experience for The Cure and Janet Jackson concerts, NASA/JPL/CALTECH Yuri’s Night celebrity fundraiser, and the annual San Diego Natural History Museum gala.&nbsp;&nbsp;Lots of great exposure and feedback!3.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;We’ve been working diligently to raise $4.5M to fund our high-volume automated line and the facility to house it. We’re exploring all sources of capital including grants, loans, angels, VC’s and potentially more crowd funding, and have made progress on many fronts.4.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;The most exciting news is that we are now days away from putting a down payment on our manufacturing line. This will allow us to expand capacity from 10k cups/month to 1.2M cups/month, and reduce our cost per unit by 80%.5.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Once the line has been ordered, we have a nine-month window to build out the facility. We’ve looked at a number of buildings and are in negotiations with a couple of very interesting sites in North County San Diego.&nbsp;&nbsp;More on this exciting topic soon.6.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Over the next three years our factory will require about 4,000 tons of spent grain!&nbsp;&nbsp;We’re in talks with a dozen San Diego County breweries to establish a program for upcycling spent grain locally.&nbsp;&nbsp;We’re also working with CalRecycle at the county and state level on this initiative and have received a tremendous amount of support.We are feeling more empowered and motivated every day as we continue to be met with SO MUCH enthusiasm and support for our mission to change single-use habits.&nbsp;&nbsp;Thank you for being a part of our company.
