June 28, 2023Here is where we are. VISITOR CENTER - We were required by Sacramento County to upgrade our kitchen which we did. We now have a state of the art kitchen and an upgraded private rental space which is frequently used. We are adding attractive new menu items to increase revenue. We remain popular and have added live music on Fridays. We are growing and expect at least a 50% growth rate year on year.MARKETING - We have freshened our marketing approach targeting social media extensively and we have our billboard well place on Interstate 80. Our social media posts are more catching at a cadence of three or four times per week.SALES - We have addressed sales in the face of two headwinds. Our distributor was purchased in early 2022 by Republic National Distributing Company. With this distributor is has become apparent we need to compete not as a craft distillery but in the same market as large spirit houses. We also have market feedback our packaging needs to pop more. To address these we now are partnering with RNDC getting into their legacy software system so we can track sales in real time identifying all accounts for proper management. He have simplified our pricing so it is much easier to use. We have an active demo calendar where we present our products in off premise stores such as Raley's, Nugget Markets, Total Wine, Bevmo and other locations. We will be upgrading our packaging to create more shelf attractiveness. We are targeting 4000 cases sold this year and we are on track for this.PRODUCTION- We are laying down about a barrel a day of our whiskies. Gin production we have optimized. We have discovered that the quality of the barrel is critical for the final product. Out barrels come from western Pennsylvania in the mountains. We use only one vendor now due to this. Our products remain premium at a shelf price where we can market well. THE BUSINESS- We are still not breakeven but are taking the right steps to get there. We are targeting 2024 to get there. All statements here are forward looking and no results are guaranteed.Thank you, Kevin Keck President JJ Pfister Distilling Company
