Some more great news to announce, in that Mark McElhaney has just joined the US-based ASST Team as part-time Marketing Consultant. Mark has recently left ASR-Pioneer who make parachutes and conventional Ballistic Recovery Systems for aircraft and eVTOLs, and his 30-year experience in the aircraft and eVTOL industries is going to be invaluable during our development of these markets. He is immediately getting some excellent feedback from our current primary target market, which is the Look-Down Video AI System (LD-VAS) to continuously identify emergency landing sites under the aircraft and also provide backup for GPS signal loss by reference to existing ground maps.Somewhat amazingly this product appears not to exist currently, which is exactly the very positive feedback we are getting during our market survey, and not just for eVTOL applications, it is equally applicable for light aircraft and helicopters as well. Pilots we have spoken to who have had an engine failure in flight are VERY enthusiastic about the system.We have an arrangement with a leading drone avionics designer/manufacturer in the UK to develop this system as a Joint Venture and it will be our first fully developed aerospace market product for sale, probably within a year. This product is obviously the first critical element in the complete GLIDE autonomous emergency recovery system which is our ultimate target for the eVTOL/cargo drone markets.So welcome to Mark, and fingers crossed for the rapid development and global marketing of our first aerospace product.Best wishes to all,Roger Sloman.
