Dear Antelope WeFunder Investors,We are thrilled to share some exciting news with you! We have received our first deposit from WeFunder and initiated a rolling close for our campaign. We would like to extend our sincerest thanks to all of you who have supported us thus far. Since the deposit landed in our bank account last Friday, we have hit the ground running and made significant strides toward our goals. Our WeFunder SAFE is open until the end of June, and we still require more capital to ensure the success of Antelope! This initial $50k gives us three months to make significant progress with the company and shift from building the program to selling the program. This first deposit has allowed us to pass a major critical milestone in our company and has been essential to opening our doors! With this deposit, we are paying for our critical operating expenses such as insuring the program, legal fees, accounting systems, paying our team, and continuing to build our EHR. However, we require another $50,000 to extend our runway and maintain operations while we wait for insurance approvals, which often take six months. Until we are approved to accept even a single insurance panel, we can only take private pay clients. We have achieved many milestones in the past month, including:Hiring the final two members of our clinical team, Angie Flynn, RN, and Yelena Conaway, Ph.D., LPC. We are proud to have their expertise and experience on our team! Both are very seasoned professionals, and we have made leaps and bounds of progress with our medical and clinical development since hiring them. You can learn more about them here.We have also received approval to open from our telehealth lawyer, after finalizing our consent to treatment forms, and data security procedures. Telemedicine is in a legal gray zone, and we are grateful to have found an expert in navigating that terrain. We have reached out to over 500 school counselors, therapists, and programs across the state and have been in meetings with them over the last three weeks. We’ve been busy building our referral partnerships, and now we can say that every school district in the state has access to and knows our program is a resource for their families! We are grateful to have established quite a few partnerships this last month. A few local organizations we are particularly excited about include… The Second Wind Fund a non-profit organization that funds recovery for teens who have had a suicide attempt.Youth Roots and their youth data scan project enable us to stay ahead of care for teens in CO and contribute to many community and state initiatives. We have also become part of Co-Pla, and COPA - both are a network of providers in the state who are interested in having a voice in public policy. We’ve also been collaborating with other programs for teens in Colorado, such as Full-Circle in Denver, Medicine Horse in Longmont, and CAYAC in Weld County. While we have made significant progress, we still need your help to get through the summer and land on our feet. 9 ways you can support our success! Introductions to potential customers: We are accepting clients and require a minimum of five teens in our program to do so. If you know a teen who needs help, please send them to our website or have them call our team at (303) 578-2391. We are now listed on Google, and we would appreciate you leaving a review if you have worked with any of our clinicians or can attest to the quality of the team! If you are a part of any mom groups on Facebook in Colorado - don’t forget to leave a plug for Antelope! Moms are powerful, and we know that one network of moms can change everything :) ( If you are not involved in a group and you’d like to join one, let me know, and I’ll share a link to a group closest to you.) Join and share our private Facebook group for parents of struggling teens! Partnership introductions: We need your help to connect with providers, teachers, pediatricians, or psychiatrists in Colorado. If you know anyone who works with teens or parents, please make an intro! If you know any potential investors - please consider making an introduction! I am happy to meet with anyone who may be interested in our company. Consider investing more! If you’ve already invested, thank you! And if you’re interested in supporting us in reaching our next milestone, I would love to connect with you. If you have experience with sales and marketing in healthcare, we would love to hear your ideas and connect with you on reaching potential private pay clients. Continue advocating for us on social media! You can find us on Linkedin, Instagram, and Facebook, our Facebook group. You may also be interested in this article from Andreessen Horowitz on healthcare markets on why the mental healthcare market exhibits conditions to succeed.
