Life is full of compromises, small sacrifices we have to make to accomplish our goals. Since Pangea’s creation we have wanted to take trash and turn it into something beautiful. Give it a value so that it’s not so easily discarded and used as an instrument to destroy the planet. Along the way we have had to make many compromises. When we were one of the only companies in the world producing bamboo waffle weave, we agreed to produce in China. When no one in the world would recycle our environmental river trash into fabric, we settled for PET bottles collected from a third party. The truth is almost no recycled plastics in the world are made from waste collected from the environment.Profits created the temporary limits on how sustainable our products could be. We did not want to rest until we accomplished our vision, but we weren’t there yet. After years of hard work we no longer need to compromise. The most environmental action we want to take is merging with the most profitable action we can take. Here’s some of the sacrifices we have made over the years that can be solved with our upcoming product, the Pangea sunglasses:Profits- Pangea Sunglasses have a gross profit 2.5x greater than our jackets and towels. No more delays! We control our production speed and timeline rather than 3rd party manufacturers.Unbelievable MOAT- Almost no one will be able to copy what we are creating, Pangea products will stay one of a kind for years to come.Minimum Order Quantity- No more need to put lots of capital at risk with large orders, and no waste, we only produce what's needed and can take profits manufacturing for other companies.Ethical Standards- We can finally guarantee and certify great working conditions and wages!Clean Supply Chain- Our commitment to a clean supply chain can finally be guaranteed because we have control of all these processes. Our supply chain will clean the planet every step of the way!Global shipping- Cost is reduced because the glasses are so lightweight. More profits and less CO2 emissions.Local Production- No wasteful global logistics shipping different raw materials around the world, our sunglasses will be sourced and produced locally.Trash is valuable- 8,000x more value to each kg of Polypropylene Easy to understand mission and marketing- Many customers struggle to understand the connection between our towels and river barriers. Our messaging will be more viral than ever. Greatly reduced defects- We can control and monitor quality at every step of the manufacture.2023 will be the year without compromise for Pangea. One with local, handmade, circular production. Everything from the impact to the final product will be managed by the founders to ensure transparency, ethical standards, and record profits.
