Hello everyone! We have some new updates to share with you today:We are now enrolling Colorado teens in our virtual intensive outpatient program (vIOP). If you know a family with a teen who needs help, please share our website with them or have them call (303) 578-2391 to talk to our team.We have a new website that we have worked hard to make user-friendly and easy to navigate. It launched quietly a few weeks ago and within just two days received 4 new leads. We’ve found a value-aligned legal team in Colorado that’s passionate about our mission, experienced in the industry, and confident that they can help us navigate the complex and ever changing legal terrain of behavioral telehealth. We’re excited about moving forward with Kareo, our technology platform partner. Kareo is a state of the art Electronic Health Record (EHR) platform that will enable us to have the most efficient and secure clinical operations possible, while allowing us to introduce even simple data practices in the industry. Measurement-based care is the future of our mental health system and we’re on a mission to bring rigorous data practices into the field. The industry is telling us what has worked (and what has failed):Our strategy at Antelope was developed learning from the first wave of telehealth companies (over the past ten years) and their mistakes. We've seen many of these companies scale too quickly, cause harm to their clients, and burn out talented care-providers (you can read more in this recent WSJ article). Our "second mover advantage" allows us to focus on developing quality care and avoid the growth-obsessed pitfalls that these companies fell into. We are confident in our vision to create the utmost sustainable health for our team-members as well as for families in need.We appreciate your continued support of our program. We would love your help in spreading the word. There are a few ways you can do this:Send our website or an email intro to Shelby@AntelopeRecovery.com to any therapists, counselors, or schools you're connected to. These professionals may be interested in referring their clients to our program or may be interested in collaborating with us.Help us in our search for more top-notch full-time therapists. We are looking for a highly qualified and compassionate therapist with a Colorado License to join our team. If you know someone who might be interested, please let us know. Here is a link to our LinkedIn Job Description. Some of our favorite books from the last few months: Healing by Thomas Insel - This book is a great analysis on the state of mental healthcare in the US. A must-read for anyone interested in understanding the mental health industry and how we got here. Deep Medicine - A book about the future of AI in healthcare and how that can free up providers to be able to do their job better. There is an entire chapter dedicated to Mental Healthcare and how we can use the latest tech to support our program. You are not alone - NAMI's new "how to" book on navigating the mental healthcare system. A great read for anyone who is struggling or has a loved one who needs help! This manual can help you avoid care pitfalls and find what will work for your family. Thank you for your support! Together, we can make a difference in the lives of the teens we serve.Warmly,Shelby Robbins
