78 Friends, Fam, and Super Fans picked up the ServeScape flag and committed to helping us deliver beauty and resilience to landscapes across the South.What a thrill to keep it growing with so much love and support. Now with our initial goal of $60k accomplished, Wefunder is spreading our mission far and wide.Last week we expanded our raise cap another $60k to $120k to welcome other investors outside of my personal invitations ). I was so shocked to see such national and international interest in our little #Atlanta start-up - we are now a $67k.Being the data nerd I am (to accompany my plant nerdship) I poured into the data of who is investing in ServeScape and here is what I found.Of the 78 investors:🌱 48 are Fans! Customers that have ordered at least once and as many at 14 times.😎 17 are Friends. Some of my mentors and besties. Through thick and thin, these folks are always the wind behind the sails.😘 7 are Family. Close siblings and cousins. Foundational rocks in my life.🙏 5 are Believers. Folks that have never used the service or know me. Just believers in our mission (and/or the chance of a healthy return). Recent additions from California, New York, Colorado, Florida, and the Middle East. Welcome to ServeScape!The ServeScape crowdround on WeFunder will close when we hit the cap at $120k or March 1st 2023 whichever comes first.PS - For all the just starting-out entrepreneurs, asking people for money is tough and complicated. Especially family and friends. Three years ago, when I was getting ready to launch, I choose not to broadly ask friends and fam for start-up investment. I felt like I would regret asking them. So, I waited until I had reached a point when the risk / reward felt more balanced.
