To the SliceSpace Community,We would like to thank you each for your trust in what we are building and for your generous support of our company. We’re excited to continue growing the SliceSpace community, and we have some great updates to share this week. Many people have been asking for a reason we decided to go with a crowdfunding strategy to allow individuals to become a part of SliceSpace Inc. The answer is simple - we want to create a community of passionate individuals who want to help shape the future of our company. We want to grow with you, and we believe this is the best way to do so. The current fundraising round signifies what is technically referred to as a ‘pre-seed round’ of funding. This is typically the first time a company raises money from outside investors, and it’s an important moment for any startup. It sets the stage for future rounds of investment (typically referred to as 'Seed', ‘Series A’, ‘Series B’, etc.), and more importantly, it allows the company to begin proving its concept to the greater investing public. We’re off to a great start, and appreciate your support in keeping the momentum going. Investing in a startup is not without risk, but we believe in the SliceSpace team and our ability to execute our vision. The ‘pre-seed round’ will commence prior to the release of the main product to market. This means that individuals choosing to invest now will be among the first and only from the public to have such an opportunity for the foreseeable future. Not only will you have the chance to be a part of something special from the beginning, but you will also have the chance to provide feedback and help shape the product as it grows. We want our investors to be as involved as they would like to be, and we believe this is the best way to achieve that goal. Through each round, as the value of the company increases, so will the shares that you have acquired at this stage. As far as cashing out on that investment, traditionally that process begins after the company goes public through an ‘Initial Public Offering’ (IPO) or agrees to some kind of acquisition. There is no set timeline for an IPO, but it typically happens after a company has reached a certain level of profitability and stability.A word on our current advisors - We are extremely grateful to Dr. Daniel Folkinshteyn and Philip Balderston for the tremendous help they been providing us with in terms of mentorship and network. As you might know, we have had many other individuals give us great ideas and insight in the early days of the project, but as time goes on other matters took their attention. As we move towards the next part of our company’s maturity cycle we are evaluating time commitment requirements in order to qualify for the board of advisors - more info to follow. The entire SliceSpace team is excited for the next phase in this journey and thanks you all again for your support! So what’s next? We’re working hard on the product and getting it ready for launch. We’re also working to finalize our advisor network and grow our team. If you have any suggestions or know anyone who might be a good fit, please let us know. We’re always looking for talented individuals to join the team. Lastly, we’re continuing to work on our marketing strategy and getting the word out about SliceSpace. If you have any ideas or suggestions, we would love to hear them. That’s all for this week! As always, please reach out to us with any questions or feedback.Cheers,Mory Katan
