Horacio Ruiz and Stefan von Imhof host the show where they feature the entire run from alternatives to traditional assets.Andrew Just joined the Valkyrie investment team as their General Counsel after leaving his position as managing associate of the law firm Frost Brown Todd and one of the country's leading blockchain and cryptocurrency law experts. Brian and Andrew talk about the advantages of blockchain, legal issues and solutions in the space, and the most recent developments at Acquire. Horacio began by asking Brian about how he got involved in blockchain and cryptocurrency. After Brian witnessed first hand the Wild West of Ethereum's initial coin offering (ICO), he realized there was a lot of potential for using blockchain to change capital markets, raise capital and open markets to the masses, if done correctly, within a programmed, regulated framework. He co-founded Acquire following this to make it easier for private companies to raise capital through tokenization. Tokenization is the process of representing traditional securities (such as equity or debt) on a blockchain. Brian and Andrew then discussed some of the advantages of tokenization.
