Dear friends of REJOY, Before our first Wefunder campaign, we just had our Recovery line with 3 skus and were present in 50 stores in Miami. With the funds from our raise we developed and launched a Plant-Based Hydration line with 3 skus, we’re now sold in 4 states, we closed distribution deals with national and regional distributors, as well as with national and regional retailers and we’re ready to grow! Q1 started strong! 3x Revenue vs Q1 2021 with the start of the sales to the new retailers that were signed during Dec21-Jan22. As the year unfolds, we see the impact of the changes triggered by the pandemic. On one hand, we are witnessing how Consumer behavior is in the midst of radical change, accelerated by the pandemic. Consumers are overwhelmingly choosing the new generation of products that are plant-based, functional, clean and sustainable packaging. The Pandemic also brought material supply shortages and high input cost inflation. Therefore, the RTD (Ready to Drink) business model is becoming more and more challenging: squeezing margins and higher working capital needs. Due to this context, we decided to anticipate some key initiatives that were part of our pipeline. These involve the launch of new products and business opportunities that are less capital intensive, and we believe can have a faster path to profit.Leveraging our brand assets, community and product philosophy, we are launching Clean Plant-Based Powder Mixes on Amazon, to surf the growing trend of convenience, less packaging and water transport, in an online friendly fashion.
