I’ve always tried to live my life without regrets. I often ask myself, “if today was my last day on earth, would I…?” Regret spending too much time with family and friends? Nope. Regret getting outdoors nearly everyday? Absolutely not. Would I regret investing and spending my money in ways that are aligned with my values? No way!At the risk of sounding overly-dramatic, today could’ve easily been my final day. On this beautiful Wednesday morning, I took my dog out for our daily run around the little mountain town we call home.  Less than a half-mile in, we turned a corner and encountered 2 moose, 20 yards away. I saw them, they saw us. I immediately knew that I this could be it for me and the pooch. Moose are enormous animals that can turn aggressive and mean very quickly. We slowed the run down to a walk (which isn’t saying much, I run VERY slow to begin with). They watched our every step, as we walked slowly, steady, and quietly away. There was not an escape path, we just had to keep walking down the road. Fortunately, that’s the end of my morning adventure…the moose kindly chose to let us just move along. And I get to live another day without regrets. Now for the moose…I mean, news!
