Hello Everyone,Today is the last day to invest in CabinetM before our campaign closes.  It's been an exciting journey and we're grateful for all the support! Along the way we've been asked several times why we chose to crowdfund, especially since Anita and I have raised capital from angels, angel groups and venture capitalists in the past, and have ourselves been angels.The answer is simple. As you may know, women received only a tiny percentage of the available venture capital. In 2020 it was just 2.3%! We have to knock on an exponentially higher number of doors to raise the same funds as our male colleagues. Given that CabinetM is such a small team - Anita and I are the only full time employees - we decided that crowdfunding would allow us to raise capital and fully focus on the business, without one of us working full time knocking on those doors.  We also determined that Wefunder would provide access to an international investor community looking to fund scaling businesses without regard to the gender of the founders.This decision served us well.  Since our campaign went live, we have added over 140 investors to the CabinetM family, and have been able to move the business forward by: Developing our pipeline, securing renewals and closing new customers.Signing two new distribution partnerships, including one with KPMG; we expect to sign another shortly with a partner in APAC.Continuing to enhance our platform and deliver more value to our users.The funds raised will allow us to continue building our sales team, and we couldn't have done this without you.
