Hello investors! Welcome to our January update. We have finally reached a phase where we can have monthly updates. I'm excited to be sharing more frequent updates with the community! Thanks for your patience :)1. Finalized Design OptionsLast month we finalized our production designs, our interior and exterior options and started gearing towards production. We introduced options like roof decks, and high-end customizations to increase our profitability outlook. We're launching our configurator this month to start finalizing orders. 2. ToursWe’ve been giving tours here at our Torrance micro factory every Thursday — and it’s been great to hear feedback from our future home owners. We’re using this feedback to build an even more exciting product for everyone.3. Production UpdateWe’re excited to be finally entering into production this month! February 2022!We’re starting with a limited production run of 20 units, and plan to ramp up production later this summer.Our starting production run is limited for two major reasons:The first is space. We’ve quickly run out of space here in our Torrance micro factory. We currently have a 4,500 SQFt combined warehouse and office space, and now need to move into a much larger space. We’ve estimated a 25k SQFt of industrial space will enable us reach a target of 20-30 units/month.The second reason is the need to obtain necessary equipment as we enter into volume production. To achieve our lofty goals, we’ve had to optimize our building system and incorporate intelligent automation into our production process. This will make our fabrication process a lot more efficient and predictable as well.4. 🚀🚀 Demand is still on fire 🔥🔥 Demand is still exploding. We’re now back-ordered till 2025! While this sounds great for any business, it’s a very long time to wait for your home — especially as we are an impact-driven company that wants to provide equitable housing for everyone.To this end, we’re considering raising another round to enable us fully achieve this.
