She is diligent with her expense tracking and planning her spending throughout the semester with Arbol’s guidance.Arbol partnered with Scholar Bridge provided emergency funding of $6,000 to Angela Simasiku, a law student at Georgia State University to pay her student bill. Angela was at risk of forced disenrollment while only being 3 credit hours away of graduation.🤝TractionLaunched private beta in partnership with D’Youville College that provides 15 students with a $1,000 microgrant to use towards non-tuition expenses such as books, supplies, transportation, off-campus housing and childcare.The team plans on extending the private beta to students from Villa Maria College and Undocuprofessionals in the coming weeks.Launched the Arbol Community Fund in partnership with PPF. The charitable fund is now available for supporters to contribute towards. The funds will be distributed directly to students to cover their life expenses in the form of microgrants. Supporters can subscribe to a recurring contribution.&nbsp;🖥 ProductArbol 1.0 is now live with over 20 students from the Urban League and D’Youville College. Students can now create a profile, manage a budget and book an appointment with Arbol to perform a needs assessment.Launched debit card proof of concept with Sarah and Angela. Later this year, the team plans on rolling out Arbol branded cards with expense controls to help the students effectively manage the funds they receive from the Arbol supporter network.
