Hey Germs Army! Here is a mega-update on what our company has been up to the past few months. It has been a busy few months, filled with changes and expansion. Online - Our biggest developments have come from our online presence. Year after year, and sped up because of COVID, everything is moving digital. E-commerce is massive, allowing us to connect with a large retail market with very little upfront cost. GERMS ARE STUPID!, with a flagship product being a topical hand sanitizer, faced a few delays getting on Amazon. We had to go through many checks with them to make sure our product and brand was Amazon approved. And I am proud to announce that GERMS ARE STUPID! is now on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09LR114RT?ref=myi_title_dpNow that we have one product on Amazon, we can put all of our products up very swiftly, including our soaps, gums, mints, and more. Our next step is to move this product to Amazon FBA, which is their own delivery system, so our product is an Amazon Prime Product! At the time of writing their system is still populating with our inventory, but it should be available for sale in the next few hours!! Over the past few months we have discovered that even wholesale and distribution is moving online. Visiting a few more of the wholesale shows, we have seen a massive decline in people going. Obviously this is due to tools such as Zoom making life simple and COVID making people hesitant to go out in public. With that being said, we have been investigating all online distributors to position our product on them. A lot of these distributors are exclusive, only allowing certain brands in at a time. Such as Faire.com. Faire is an online distributor with over 200,000 retailers across North America and Europe, and expecting 300% YoY volume growth. And yesterday, we just got pre-approved to be on their network. We should have this set up within the next week. And not only that, but we are also finalizing our store on the service helloabound.com, another one of these services. Hopefully this should snowball and we will continue to expand to many of this distributors. Finally, every brand needs a great website, which is why we have been dedicating a lot of time and resources to our own website. I should have a working preview link by tonight which I will put in the comments below. At this time, I can attach a screenshot of our homepage. When I get the working preview link I encourage everyone to play around on the website and send me all of your notes! This is OUR company and you should feel encouraged to contribute in any way! The Brand - GERMS ARE STUPID! has really come a long way from its roots. We started as literally just a hand sanitizer to encourage kids to stay clean and are growing into a full wellness and healthcare brand. We are working on Wet Wipes, Cleaning Supplies, Multi-Vitamins, Face Cleansers, Shampoos, Conditioners, Tissues, Soaps, and more. We are currently talking with a few companies who believe that they can scale Germs are Stupid, giving us additional resources in order to grow quickly. We have also have some people ask if they can license our brand, but that is a route we still need to consider. GERMS ARE STUPID! can become huge, and licensing would be a great way of getting additional product out there with minimal work and costs on our end. In accordance with this, we are working on a slight rebrand to make our product one that looks modern, fun, and even more popping than before. I have attached some concepts below for your viewing pleasure, what do you think? One of our partners and long time family friends, who has successfully sold products into CostCo, Walmart, and Target, especially thinks the soaps will be massive. Soaps are a product that everyone uses, everyone has in their home, and is constant, 24/7 reinforced branding. We are still a made in America brand which personally makes me really happy. Supply chain issues globally have been a mess so being Made in America offers the pragmatic benefit of being able to make sure supply flow stays stable. On a personal note, we are a company that believes the United States is great and we want to do whatever we can to create well paying jobs in the U.S. As we grow, we plan to keep it that way. -Speaking as just Hayden here, I want to say thank you all for joining us in this company. We really are doing something that will change the world, encouraging kids to stay happy, healthy, sanitized and smiling. In a world that has been very scary over the past 18 months, our mission of making everyone's day just a little bit brighter and also safer has been one that I feel so happy to partake on. Our WeFunder closes on the 16th, if you have any friends or family who you think would like to join us in this company I encourage you to share this with them. To our backers who have invested the amount to reach our rewards, we are ready to ship out your prints by Todd Goldman so you can proudly show Germaine on your wall. My own GERMS ARE STUPID! canvas sits right in front of me everydayThank you all for your continuing love and support. Stay happy and healthy and have a wonderful weekend!
