Greetings Brazeryans, This is our first public update in some time and it comes on the heels of not one, but TWO, features in dot.LA in the past week (for those who may not have heard of it, dot.LA is an online news and events company covering the Los Angeles tech and startup scene). The first article was an exclusive feature on Brazen Bio by Los Angeles' only dedicated biotech journalist, Keerthi Vedantam: "This New Incubator Program Hopes to Change Scientists' Role in Startups". The second article was by Katherine Abando summarizing all the startup launch houses in Los Angeles: "Meet the LA Startup Houses Building Companies Through Co-Living and Creative Energy".What a fantastic La La Land debut! As you can see—in just 4 months—we've successfully raised funding from the crowd, launched a new biotech incubator program, and recruited 4 founder teams from all over the country. As with any product "alpha" we've been learning a ton in context.What we can say at this point is that we are totally energized by this work and seeing all the progress made by the founder teams already.
