 Talino's work on financial inclusion technologies was featured at a "Pecha Kucha" talk for the International Design Conference 2021 organized by the Design Center of the Philippines on September 23, 2021.A "Pecha Kucha" is a presentation format in which a speaker has to deliver their talk in 20 slides of precisely 20 seconds per slide. It was popularized by advertising professionals in Japan in 2003 and has since gained popularity all over the world.Building on the conference theme of "Design Futures: The Future is Now", Talino's Chief Marketing Officer, Niña Terol, asserted that, "The Future of Fintech is Inclusive," and showcased some of Talino's work from the Philippines, the Middle East, and its recent FDICTech win in the United States.Now on its fifth year, The International Design Conference is an annual event organized by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI)-Design Center of the Philippines, and attended by industry professionals, the academe, client organizations, and industry networks across borders. Inspired by the words of Mahatma Gandhi, “The future depends on what you do today”, the International Design Conference 2021 explores the power of design that is affecting radical and far-reaching change.To watch the full Pecha Kucha talk through a Facebook Live replay, click HERE and start at the 25:25 timestamp.
