Hello everyone, Nathan here.  I'm happy to announce that we hit our funding goal and we are closing our campaign (the campaign closes on Monday, 9/27).  The reason why we are closing the campaign now is that we are just about ready to close on our construction funding, which this equity will go towards.  All loan documents are expected to be signed next week, and closing should happen shortly thereafter.  The reason why the closing is delayed beyond the signing of loan documents is that the Colorado Division of Housing (one of our funders for the workforce housing) requires loan documents to be signed before they can request payment from the State Accounting Office, so as soon as those funds come in we will close.  In the interim, we are issuing our contractor a full Notice to Proceed on Friday (9/24) and starting construction in earnest.  Our target construction completion date is late June 2022, and so we should be opening the food hall in July of 2022.  Zach and I believe that food halls are essential for thriving restaurant ecosystems, especially in smaller communities (I wrote an article to this effect for the Colorado Real Estate Journal:  https://crej.com/retail-properties-quarterly-current-issue/).  We are also huge proponents of Pueblo, so it is a dream come true to bring the Fuel & Iron Project to Downtown Pueblo.   To those who have invested in the project already, a heartfelt thank you.  We could not have gotten this off the ground without you.  To those who haven't yet invested, we'd love to have you as a partner in the project and we could not be more excited for what we will all build together.  Thanks and if you are in town for the Chile & Frijoles Festival, come see us (we are a gate sponsor at the Union Ave. and B Street gate).  All my best, Nathan
