Hey WeFunder Fam!We will have been open for 2 weeks now and it has been chock full of learnings and some really positive signals! I wanted to get in here and drop in a few highlights from our first couple of weeks in operation!&nbsp;LEARNINGS:Build permit to open time frame so short, need marketing to catch-up: If you can believe it, it only took us 5 days to build the park, 2 days to train our staff and 3 days to soft open. This means this entire park was open to the public 10 days after we got our build permit. While this is a huge feat for our production team, it also means that we only really had 10 days to market the park before we were open and make people aware that it was coming to Santa Ana. We are now working to have our marketing and awareness catch up to the speed at which we built the park!The FlowRider Wave Machine is best suited as a short term seasonal ride. The FlowRider is great, however it is much higher maintenance than the other attractions, requires additional staffing, and costs a factor of 10x more than the other attractions to operate. It has served a really great purpose as a novel experience and marketing mechanism that has helped people find DIVERT, however as a long term attraction, it is not financially reasonable to hold onto. As a result, we will be replacing the Wave Machine with a new action sports experience that allows us to expose the community to yet another action sports experience they may never have gotten to try. We will be replacing it with a rock climbing wall and trampoline training area that we know people love, and will be very popular as sport climbing also makes its debut in the Olympics this summer as well!&nbsp;&nbsp;WINS!We are getting recognized! LINKED HERE is a spot that we did on CBS San Diego giving people a tour around the park! LINKED HERE is our front page cover story in the OC Register talking about the park and how awesome it is, and getting testimonials from our guests. Upcoming we have ABC shooting their morning show at DIVERTsessions, and also have inbound interest from the LA Times, Fox 11, Men's Journal and more!&nbsp;People love DIVERT once they get on-site: Once we get people to DIVERTsessions, they convert from their hour pass ($30) or day pass ($40), to a season pass ($100) at a rate of about 75%.&nbsp;DIVERT is a highly repeatable experience: We have seen that those that do purchase the season pass, come back frequently to participate at DIVERTsessions. Some come back as many as 5 times a week, but it is more common that they repeat about 2 times / week.&nbsp;After the first two weeks, we have gotten amazing customer testimonials in our first couple of weeks!“My son chase has so much fun hanging with the (DIVERT) team today. There is also a lot to look forward to! We are starting our event series which will continue to drive up awareness about DIVERTsessions including X-Games and Olympic watch parties, skateboard and snowboard competitions, concerts and keynote speeches from some industry legends.
