Because one great news wasn't enough for one day, just after hitting our $500K goal in funding, we received confirmation of our acceptance as one of the few start-ups in residence at University Lab Partners, a state-of-the-art wetlab located at the heart of UCI Research Park.ULP is a non-profit organization whose goal is to accelerate the development of knowledge, products, and companies that will benefit society through MedTech and Life Science applications. ULP's programs and collaborations help advance promising therapies and products so they can get to market faster.We've been selected because of our potential as a consumer platform to provide Ph.D. candidates opportunities to develop and implement disruptive biotech applications and see their execution from inception through market introduction: a true win-win for Çava Health and the UCI's extended scientific community! As a result of our partnership, we will relocate our HQ on the research campus, with a dedicated on-site lab decked with $1.5M worth of equipment and exclusive access to UCI's core facilities specializing in advanced manufacturing and high-throughput genomics, biological imaging, and clinical trial assistance.Five main take-aways of this partnership:• Ability to execute on product development at a much faster pace• $2M savings over three years in equipment and testing costs • Direct access to a world-class pool of talents to grow our bench• Faster application for SBIR/STTR Grants• Zero IP or equity claim.🚀 Congrats Team Çava! 👏👏                          🚛 Moving in July 1st 2021!
