When you take&nbsp;Eco-Tree Action you are taking a stand for your future, the future of others, and for the health of our planet.&nbsp;World Tree expects to fund the planting of an additional 1,400 acres of one of the World’s fastest growing trees, the Empress&nbsp;Splendor (botanical name Paulownia), after&nbsp;the successful completion of this&nbsp;offering.&nbsp;What does that REALLY mean? 1,400 acres of Empress Splendor trees could:&nbsp;Capture 420,000 tons of carbon (equivalent to the same amount carbon sequestered by 514,575 acres of US forests in a year!)&nbsp;Offset the average carbon footprint of over 2,800 citizens living in the US&nbsp;With over 5,000 acres already planted and over 270 small farms,&nbsp;we are now the largest growers of Paulownia in North and Latin America. However, we are always looking at ways to grow and to improve upon what we’re doing. During previous campaigns&nbsp;we often received feedback&nbsp;regarding&nbsp;the affordability of&nbsp;our&nbsp;offering; many people were wanting to invest,&nbsp;but the minimum amount was just&nbsp;beyond&nbsp;accessibility.
