Hey DIVERTfam!&nbsp;First, we want to thank you all for your notes and messages of positivity and on-going support. We appreciate the understanding that we are working through a difficult to manage time in history and greatly appreciate the on-going enthusiasm and support of the project! It gives us energy and gratitude that our supporters are with us through thick and thin!As we alluded to in our previous update, we have been developing many of the project requirements that are not launch date&nbsp;dependent. We have some SUPER exciting things in the works and we want to share a few of them with our DIVERTfam! In addition, we also mentioned a few contingency plans that we may have needed to enlist due to the lockdown in Los Angeles County. Below, you will find the latest and greatest on both!&nbsp;DIVERTSESSIONS LAUNCH DATE AND LOCATION UPDATEWith the stay at home order lifted in the Southern California region, that means that we are finally able to pick up the permitting discussions that we had started back in October with the City and continue to advance them forward.&nbsp;In order to remain hyper vigilant and responsive to the changing environment, DIVERT currently has 2 lease deals ready to execute in Southern California. One in Los Angeles County at the Del Amo Mall in Torrance, CA, and one in Orange Country at the MainPlace mall in Santa Ana, CA. If for whatever reason one site falls out due to permitting, restrictions, or other potential barriers,&nbsp;we have protected ourselves with a safety net of a second site. Both have been assessed by our team of professionals from a demographic, accessibility, economic, impact and profitability perspective and have been rated highly for projected success. This means we have two great options in the works and will continue to work diligently to finalize our location with the City and State officials.Because the lockdowns disrupted&nbsp;our permitting progress by 6-8 weeks, we are now looking at a launch date of mid to late May. While we are extremely eager to get this project launched (as we are sure you are as well) we must consistently remind ourselves that we do this for the community, their health and well-being, and so having patience until cases drop, the vaccine has been widely distributed and we can safely serve the community is out number one priority. In addition, this DIVERTsessions project is the first of, what we intend to be, many just like it. Launching too early, risking shut downs or bad publicity for launching too early are all things that are critical to avoid as we continue to scale and grow our business.&nbsp;The great news about a mid to late launch date is that kids get out of school in early June, and those are projected to be our most profitable months. Not to mention we will have the added support of Skateboarding, Surfing and BMX all making their induction into the Olympics right alongside the opening of DIVERT. This should drive mass awareness and adoption of these sports, with DIVERT being the only option to participate in them in a safe, welcoming environment in a single facility.&nbsp;This is the latest and greatest on launch date and location. We love to hear from and talk with the DIVERTfam!As for the progress that we have been able to make on the items that are not launch dependent, we have been in production overdrive, producing super exciting marketing and branding assets to set us up for our pre-sale! We are about 90% of&nbsp;the way to having it ready to go live with final copy and content still being revised and refined.&nbsp;LINKED HERE you will find a portfolio of digital ads that we will use for our pre-sale campaign to help spread awareness and drive ticket conversions before we are open!&nbsp;UPCOMINGDIVERTapp: The DIVERT Challenges app&nbsp;will help guests at DIVERT quantify their progression in the sports and creative curriculum, as well as compete for best tricks. It is about 1/2 way through development and will be ready to test in the next 2-3 weeks!DIVERT Explainer Video: DIVERT's explainer video, which uses the fly through renders, mixed with real content, tells customers and brands&nbsp;about what to expect at the DIVERT experience, what they will get out of it, and how they can Achieve Their I'mpossible! Both the customer and brand explainer video are set to be done in 2 weeks and we will share once they are finished!&nbsp;That is the full DIVERT update for now.
