Recognizing and reacting to changing conditions in the senior care marketplace, including COVID-19 impacts and acceleration of trends already established, VibeTech has announced an expansion of portions of their sales strategy. VibeTech is currently engaged in discussions with a large national physical therapy services provider for eventual placement of its therapeutic vibration devices into the full continuum of senior care institutional settings, plus the emerging home-care market. Additionally, in response to numerous requests, VibeTech will accelerate its plans to make its devices available to individuals desiring to purchase for their own at-home use. A recent CareCentrix survey titled “Health-at-Home 2020” confirmed VibeTech’s market research and instinct that “after decades of facility-focused care, healthcare is moving home.” The survey covered 1,000 U.S. adults, 76 health plan executives, and several high level health policy experts. Some key survey results: 97% of health plan executives agree that more care at home is better for insurers and their members, 73% of consumers would prefer recovering at home following a major medical event, 69% of consumers are interested in regular, at-home consults with their doctors through tele-medicine, and 63% would prefer to get preventive care at home if the alternative is visiting a doctor or medical facility. Ironically, caregivers of the elderly had the highest level of interest at 76%. Medicare has indicated its long term intention to push for innovations in the senior care environment that will result in better patient outcomes while reducing societal costs.
