Happy New Years to all of our investors and supporters!It has been a few months since we posted here and boy oh boy do we have ALOT to share. Our team took a much-needed deep dive into our company to ensure we stay on tracked and in the right direction in addition to tackling all potential growing pains proactively. I came into Babyvend as a seasoned entrepreneur who understood the challenges and opportunities at hand. For every win we celebrated as a team and with our communities and for every challenge we processed, tackled it, learned from it, and documented the steps that led up to it to ensure we didn't repeat it (to the best of our abilities).To keep this simple to follow and to the point (because there is so much to share)I offer the following updates we... Are currently in 9 statesAre currently in 19 citiesAre actively working on moving into 3 more statesAre actively working on moving into 6 more cities (1 city we are adding an additional machine)Saw an income increase 10x the amount from 2020Hired a part time tech support associate who coordinates all machine technical issues, trainings, and oversees our vending management software to ensure owners and operators are supported Hired a part time sales and customer relations associate who coordinates all relationships with customers from the minute they inquire about a machine to the minute their sale closes and their transaction Finalized our inventory management and ordering system with our wholesale partner discountsFinalized our Babyvend Drive to store all data and content (we are now working to move it all over to an awesome CRM software)Finalized our training program for onboarding new machine owners and operators (we are currently working on moving to a better automated system so customers get real time information and updates and so we can decrease the number of one on one emails we get and respond to.)Upgraded all of machines to our new Deluxe and Compact editions that feature touchscreens and MP4 video players for moviesAudited our financial data and upgraded our QuickBooks account to include the enhanced CPA and bookkeeper services. Are getting ready for tax seasonStarted a quarterly newsletter (we may increase the frequency because there is so much to share)Purchased a truck with a lift gate that allowed us to move to delivering our own machines and saved quite a bit of moneyHeld a successful virtual NX Level Business Summit for our owners and operators and community partners to motivate and hear some words of wisdom from Master P AKA Percy Miller (one of my favorite Entrepreneurs who also has vending experience and so much more)- Our team left ready to take on the world!Working on creating a small advisory committee to provide support and ensure we are on the right track and getting needed feedback Filed our final paperwork to take our raise public!Special thanks to our team members who are-Attending certified vending technician training-Working on building machines and learning the technology and parts-Designing and building supply kits that supports our brand for helping people in need in places a machine can't fit -Working on making sure our onboarding processes, make sense, are accessible and meet the expectation of our customers.-Learned the ins and outs of our new truck to successfully deliver machines from Florida to Maryland.I look forward to giving your more updates next month and I sincerely thank you for your support and believing in what we are building.Jasmin SmithFounder
