## Story
I founded EZPeazy after serving in the United States Marine Corps, where I learned the importance of discipline, integrity, and taking care of the people around you. When I returned to civilian life, I saw how stressful and unpredictable home services had become for families. Ghosting, unclear pricing, and unreliable communication were everywhere. EZPeazy exists to fix that by making home services simple, transparent, and fair. Our mission goes beyond solving homeowner frustration. We are building a platform that strengthens communities. Our Young Entrepreneur program gives teens a safe and supervised way to earn money through small neighborhood jobs. Parents appreciate the structure, teens gain confidence and responsibility, and communities benefit from seeing young people step up.EZPeazy also creates real earning opportunities for local workers, including fellow veterans who want a clear and straightforward way to take on home projects without the complexity or high fees found on other platforms. We are early, but the foundation is strong. We have a clear mission, a relatable brand, and a product that solves real problems for families and businesses. With your support, we can scale EZPeazy into a trusted national platform that brings fairness, opportunity, and community back to home services.

2. **first thanks for your service lance, I am a vet too. what I am wondering is what is the biggest difference outside the teen program between you and gig market(that is raising on here now)? seeing the success of angi's despite what they are going through now got me interested.**
   - George, first off, thank you for your service. Always good connecting with another vet. Outside of our teen program, the biggest difference between EZPeazy and GigMarket is that we are not a lead generation board or a gig posting site. We are a true closed loop marketplace where homeowners post a job, contractors place one bid, and the lowest qualified bid wins without paying for leads or getting flooded with messages. On top of that, we also operate a full B2B and HOA platform that lets prop...

   - Great question. In your example, if a contractor bids a job at $1,000 and the homeowner accepts it, the homeowner pays exactly $1,000 to the contractor. Our platform is completely free for homeowners. The contractor pays a small platform fee to EZPeazy when the job is completed. That fee is 7 percent for standard contractors, 5 percent for verified veterans, and completely free for our youth earners. On large jobs we cap the fee at $750 so no contractor ever gets hit with anything unreasonabl...
5. **What is the exit plan (acquisition, IPO, merger, etc.) in which investors will be able to see a ROI?**
   - Currently our exit strategy will be acquisition. However, the growth rate and traction will determine our best exit strategy at that time.

## Q&A
- Q: What's your competitive advantage over other apps/sites like Angie's List, Task Rabbit, Thumbtack, etc.
  - A: Great question, LD — appreciate you digging in. The short version: Angie's List, Thumbtack, and TaskRabbit all make money by selling leads to contractors. The same lead gets sold to four or five pros, so the customer gets blown up with calls, and the contractor has to bake that lead cost into the price the customer pays. Everybody loses a little. EZPeazy flips it. We run a reverse auction — the customer posts the job once, and vetted local contractors come to them and bid for the work. The customer sees real competing prices side by side and picks the one they want. No lead spam, no paying for the same job five times. A couple things that come out of that model: Free for customers, and contractors only pay a small fee when they actually win a job — not for the chance to chase one. That keeps prices honest. Our Young Entrepreneur Program lets supervised teens earn money on smaller jobs (lawns, cleanups) with full parental controls and safety alerts — a community angle none of the big guys touch. So we're not trying to be a nicer version of a lead-gen site. We're a different model: the customer holds the cards, the contractor wins on merit, and the platform only gets paid when real work happens. Happy to go deeper on any of it. — Lance
- Q: I appreciate the concept here and this seems to be revolutionary, but I don't really want to hire anyone unless I see reviews about their performance and professionalism in helping others and I don't see that as a part of this platform. That would be my own drawback for investment and use. Are there any plans for this? Are reviews of contracts available in this platform? How is this different from Yelp and Thumbtack?
  - A: Earl ,great questionShort answer: yes, reviews are absolutely part of EZPeazy — they're built into the job lifecycle, not bolted on. Here's the difference from Yelp and Thumbtack:1. EZPeazy reviews are tied to verified completed jobs.On Yelp, anyone with an account can leave a review — including people who never hired the contractor or competitors trying to tank a rival. On EZPeazy, a review can only be posted by a client whose job was actually booked, paid for, and marked complete on the platform. Same the other direction — contractors review the client too. Every star rating has a real, paid-for transaction behind it.2. We also let contractors import their Yelp and Google reviews. So if a contractor already has a strong reputation off-platform, you'll see those too — but we clearly label them as imported, not native EZPeazy reviews, so you always know which ones came from a verified job on our platform versus which ones came from elsewhere. Full transparency.Bottom line: the reviews you wanted are already here, and they're more trustworthy than what you'll find on Yelp because every native EZPeazy review is locked to a real, paid-for job. Appreciate you digging in — that kind of question is exactly why we're doing the Reg CF the way we are.— Lance SmithFounder, EZPeazy

On large jobs we cap the fee at $750 so no contractor ever gets hit with anything unreasonable. This way homeowners get transparent pricing, and contractors only pay when they actually earn. There is also a complete Real Estate referral eco system built in as well but we handle those fees a bit differently. If we provide the client to one of our real estate referral partners we receive 25-30% (market referral value) of the agents commission. And trust me, agents love this. As an agent myself, if someone handed me a listing or buying client that I didn't have to pay some lead fee for I would gladly pay that referral fee.

Our focus is building a local, community driven ecosystem where homeowners, contractors, and businesses all benefit from a transparent and repeatable experience. Angi proved how massive this space is, and we are building the next evolution of that model with a cleaner and more aligned approach for everyone involved.
