EMBioSys has developed Efinia™, a revolutionary wearable platform with the potential to dramatically improve clinical outcomes as a new cancer treatment modality.We are focused on addressing high areas of unmet need for treatment of breast cancer as we continue to expand the platform for treatment of other types of cancer.Currently, over 200,0001American Cancer Society women diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer per year in the U.S. go directly to surgery as their first line of treatment.Unfortunately, scheduling of these surgeries is trending out 30, 60 and even 90 days due to multiple factors within our health care system today.Based on recent publications including a large study of over 1 million patients, for every 30-day interval of delay to surgery there is an increased risk for tumor growth and spread to the lymph nodes that can lead to surgical complications and a more challenging post-surgery treatment plan. This is a significant problem.Imagine that patients can treat their cancer, while waiting for surgery at home, without side effects!This is the potential of Efinia™.The Efinia™ breast cancer system delivers iEF Therapy in the form of a tank top. The patient simply wears the tank top while at home or on the go to receive the therapy.
